Salem Children’s Charity
Since 1994, the Salem Children’s Charity has raised money for Salem students through its annual Christmas ornament sale, Mahi Mahi Harbor Cruise and a Christmas Fundraiser held at Victoria Station. And, just like in the beginning, 100% of proceeds continue to be distributed directly to Salem children for things such as eyeglasses, enrichment programs, and food. There is no bureaucracy with this organization and the specific needs of students are met immediately upon learning of them.
North Shore Community Development Coalition
North Shore Community Development Coalition carries forward 40 years of collective experience and successful community investment on the North Shore, having reorganized as a regional community development organization in 2011.
Together, our neighborhood revitalization model has transformed long-neglected communities into safe, vibrant neighborhoods.
As the leading community development organization serving this area, North Shore CDC is able to bring our neighborhood development model into communities throughout our region. Focusing on low-income and distressed neighborhoods in need of development, North Shore CDC invests strategically in real estate, in community and civic engagement and in quality, neighborhood-based programming in order to bring opportunity to low-income residents and improve quality of life in Salem, Gloucester, Peabody and Beverly.
A percentage of everything you purchase at Mercy Tavern goes directly to the organizations we support every month. The day we can no longer give to the community is the day we shut our doors.
Please come in and support these wonderful organizations!
